Your Last Year
Written and transcribed by Terry Grant.
This is a continuation of the message I have transcribed and edited from a talk Ishvara gave on February 21, 2006. - TG.
Ishvara:
There is a lack of sincerity in your existence. You see a good idea and pick it up, but you don't follow through. That again is saying something terrible to the body: "You are not worth it." The more the body receives, "You are not worth it," the more problems there will be.
When you are truly present and aware, the universe opens up to you, and then there is all manner of assistance to help you with this process. You are not alone in this, but you have to take the first steps.
When a spiritual teaching says, "The body isn't it; the physical body is an illusion," its followers are not even concerned with the implications. So much of what is happening to humanity is a consequence of the erroneous belief that, "This isn't it."
You are on the verge of a physical shift, a physical transformation, but it is up to you. I have done everything I can to show you the way. I have said everything there is to say. The ball is now in your court. You are going to make it or break it. Some of you will fall away, and some won't. Some will fall, but get up again. Even when you fall, every one of you is able to get up again.
I have given you everything you need to take the next step, and it is up to each one of you to take it. The next step will look different for each of you; you can't compare yourself to anyone else. But it is time for you to take the step, to bring this about.
This requires that you start doing the things you know you need to do, being true to the teaching and direct experience you have had. Everyone of you has had uplifting, direct experiences, but you have fallen back, to some degree, to a less connected experience, and you settle for that. When you settle for something less than what you really know is possible, you are saying to the body, "You are not worth it." For this physical transformation to take place, you have to start saying, "You are worth it."
Any number of things can occur with the body if you do this: You have more energy, you become more sensitive, you are not controlled by emotions or the past. There is a physical, psychological and mental transformation that takes place. You no longer entertain limiting thoughts; you start thinking in an unlimited way. You start thinking of the body as a miraculous mechanism that can achieve just about anything you set your mind to.
Of course, when we look at the consensus world, we see the limitations and the conditioning that are all around us. That is why, as I continue to increase the frequency of the Space, you as a group will be able to see these higher frequencies and embody them. The physical transformation that I know is possible involves the cells lightening up; your energy becomes higher, you become more resilient. Conditions, consensus reality and hypnosis roll off of you more rapidly. Nothing can touch you. You will be around people, but you won't judge them, resist them or be attached to them. You won't feel the need to entertain or placate them. You will see where they are.
You get to the place where you know that every person you see is choosing their experience. Everyone of you is choosing your experience now. You may not be aware that you are choosing your experience, but you are. That is why I say it is really up to you. You have to start choosing a different experience. You are totally capable of that, or I would not have said it. I have spent enough time with this group, in this Space, that everyone of you is capable of a transcendent existence, seeing more.
If you start living as if this is your last year on earth, what are you going to do? Are you going to keep fiddling around with emotional traumas, the past, ridiculous projections, attachments, and all of that? No. If you really saw that this was your last year here on planet earth, you would likely make the most of it.
This awareness involves having the paradoxical sense that you are going to live forever, but this is your last year. When you keep thinking you have all the time you need, you put off taking the next step. That is human nature. You put off doing the necessary things for your body, you put off saying the right things to people, you put off seeing the connections.
Waking up brings the realization, "Wait a minute. I cannot afford to do that." You have the attitude you are going to live forever yet at the same time you realize that, "I may die tomorrow." With that awareness, you find yourself asking, "What can I do to make things more real? What can I do to connect with more people? What can I do to inspire more, to lift more, to encourage more?" All those high ideals are your real principles. Yet instead, you can be stuck in "Poor me", selfishness, resistance, attachment and the past. Those are dead ends; they go nowhere.
